I feel the same and, as such, am compelled to share a few more pics.
For the love of a large rusted wok ($5 garage sale purchase), I fashioned a bird bath out of metal fencing, filling the column with rocks dug out of our back yard. Two years later, it’s leaning a bit, but not enough to bother me yet. Last year, we needed to replace the back part of our wooden fence. At my insistence, my husband built the new fence using corrugated tin. It sticks out like a sore thumb in our suburban neighborhood, but only a few neighbors see it (lucky them). And while I enjoy the bright shine when the sun hits the tin, I’m so looking forward to it rusting. Looking for contrast, we made the gate out of knotty pine boards (left side of the last picture). Thanks, SBird, for the comment and the motivation to show more metal.
